Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Manager for Power Delivery projects in New Orleans, LA, with potential locations in Houston, TX or Baton Rouge, LA. You will lead cross‑functional teams across engineering, construction, and project controls to deliver transmission, distribution, and substation projects on time and within budget.

The role requires 7–10 years of PM experience in power delivery, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to manage scope, risk, QA/QC, and safety across the project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with power delivery focus.
• 7–10 years in project management for power delivery, T&D, or substation projects.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle, risk, and QA/QC within A/E/C/utility environments.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cross‑functional Power Delivery project teams (engineering, design, construction, project controls) to manage mid‑level, concurrent T&D/substation projects.
• Develop proposals with cost estimates, scopes of work, CPM schedules, and resource plans.
• Create and maintain WBS and cost‑loaded estimates for schedule and EVM.
• Lead contract negotiations and stakeholder meetings with IOUs, IPPs, Co‑Ops, and municipal clients.
• Provide regular project reporting and monitor cash flow, invoicing, and margin.
