Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Manager for the Power Delivery Project Management team, based in New Orleans, LA; Houston, TX; or Baton Rouge, LA. The role may work from a mutually acceptable regional location and requires travel to client offices.

Lead project controls, budgets, schedules (CPM), QA/QC, safety, and risk management across transmission, distribution, and substation projects, adhering to contract scope and WSP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years in project management, preferably Power Delivery.
• Understanding of lifecycle from proposal to closeout in utility projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and commercial acumen.
• Proven communication with utility clients and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional Power Delivery project teams and manage budgets, hours, and contracts.
• Contribute to proposals with cost estimates, scopes, and schedules.
• Develop WBS, sequencing, and cost‑loaded estimates for schedules.
• Enforce QA/QC, safety, and regulatory compliance in projects.
• Monitor cash flow, invoicing, and financial performance.
• Coordinate with procurement, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Provide regular project reporting and risk management updates.
• Support project closeout, lessons learned, and governance artifacts.
