Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Manager for our Power Delivery Project Management team located in New Orleans, LA; Houston, TX; or Baton Rouge, LA. The candidate may work from a mutually acceptable location within the region and must have the ability to travel to a WSP and/or Client office for periodic face‑to‑face meetings.

This role provides technical, administrative, and commercial project management leadership for Power Delivery projects.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical, administrative, and commercial project management leadership for the delivery of Power Delivery projects, including electric transmission, distribution, and substation infrastructure.
• Responsible for the overall performance of assigned Power Delivery projects of moderate size and complexity and/or local to regional scope.
• Oversee project financials, budgets, forecasting, earned value, schedules (CPM), and risk management.
• Ensure full adherence to end‑to‑end project lifecycle—proposal development, startup and planning, engineering coordination, procurement support, construction execution, reporting, and closeout.
• Coordinate with IOUs, IPPs, cooperatives, and public power clients for contract negotiations and execution meetings.
