Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Project Engineering Manager - Power Delivery to coordinate contract activities, manage project scope, schedule, and budget, and lead multi-disciplinary teams in delivering critical power delivery projects.

You will engage with clients and subcontractors, monitor progress and billing, and help identify new business opportunities while supporting the firm's growth and excellence in delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree desirable.
• Professional registration in field of practice preferred if available.
• Strong interpersonal skills and public speaking ability; solid project financial management and PC proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and participates in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors, drafting complex professional service agreements for senior management review.
• Directs project team and client compliance with contract terms and monitors subconsultants' compliance with contractual commitments.
• Prepares project work plan, scope, schedule and budget, and communicates these to team; monitors/manages production for schedule, budget and quality objectives.
• Monitors reports and schedules to ensure proper charging of manhours, costs and expenses; communicates project progress to senior management.
• Maintains project account files on the project management system and reviews reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitors client billings, assists in obtaining payment from clients, and resolves disputes; adjusts billing records as needed.
• Monitors subconsultants' progress, reviews invoices, and resolves payment and project disputes.
• Schedules and coordinates project meetings with the project team, regulatory agencies, the client, and others involved.
• Reports financial status of projects to technical managers.
• Identifies new business opportunities, coordinates project presentations, and markets firm's capabilities to clients.
• May supervise technical professionals and staff; workload and staffing management.
