Job summary

WSP USA in New Orleans, LA, is seeking a Senior Power Delivery Project Manager to lead large utility infrastructure programs through scope, schedule, and cost delivery. You will coordinate multi‑discipline teams, manage budgets, and drive risk mitigation while ensuring compliant, high‑quality results for clients.

Responsibilities include governance, stakeholder engagement, and performance coaching, with occasional travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required.
• 10+ years in project management or senior technical leadership role in power delivery.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle from proposal to closeout.
• Ability to manage budgets, risk, and client objectives with commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for large, complex Power Delivery projects across transmission, distribution, and substation scopes.
• Develop stakeholder engagement strategies and provide timely reporting on status and risks.
• Support Go/No-Go decisions, contract reviews, pricing strategies, and risk mitigation.
• Lead contract negotiations, scope alignment discussions, and execution meetings.
• Ensure QA/QC, discipline Deliverables, and adherence to safety and delivery standards.
• Mentor project managers and staff; oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Maintain governance updates and regular client communications on scope, schedule, and budget.
