Job summary

Sundt Enterprise in El Paso, TX seeks a Project Manager to lead assigned construction projects safely, profitably, and on schedule. You will champion execution from preconstruction (when assigned) through construction, coordinating with estimators, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

The role advances through two steps, with Step I for smaller projects and Step II for larger engagements; 3–5 years for Step I and 5–10 years for Step II are typical. A four-year degree is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in preconstruction and managing construction projects.
• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Thorough knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment utilization, scheduling and cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Lead project transition from estimating to field with reviews of contracts, schedules and budgets.
• Close-out and punch list management; address warranty callbacks promptly.
• Coordinate means/methods with the Project Superintendent; monitor resources.
• Develop and maintain PMP covering scope, procurement, environmental, time, cost, quality, safety and risk.
• Own project profitability, safety, schedule, quality and client satisfaction; make personnel decisions.
• Manage billing and payments; ensure prompt-pay compliance and cash flow.
