Hitachi Energy Mt. Pleasant offers the Mt. Pleasant Job Rotation Program (MP-JRP) to learn all facets of the PGHV business through rotating hands-on experience in project and cost management, field and floor supervision, marketing, sales, procurement, supply chain and safety over a two-year period.

Participants rotate through a series of assignments in progressively responsible positions, including DTB/PASS or PQP/SA or GIS or Ins. Transformer, with mentoring to develop PGHV management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field as listed.
• Candidates must already have work authorization to work in the United States.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Product Rotation across PGHV business units including DTB/PASS, PQP/SA, GIS or Ins. Transformer and support Project Manager on tasks.
• Support Demand/Supply Marketing or Marketing/Sales rotations with senior team members.
• Rotate through General Rotation areas (Quality, HSE, HR, Finance) and support duties as assigned.

General information:

The Mt. Pleasant Job Rotation Program (MP-JRP) position offers the opportunity to learn all facets of the Hitachi Energy Power Grid High Voltage (PGHV) business through rotating hands-on experience in project and cost management, field and floor supervision, marketing, sales, procurement, supply chain and safety over a two-year period. In this role MP-JRPs will be exposed to all aspects of the PGHV process through rotating assignments in a series of progressively more responsible positions. Mentoring and practical experience combine to develop PGHV management skills in an area of specialization. Upon program completion, MP-JRP participants may become Procurement, Marketing & Sales, Assistant Project Managers, Distribution, Supply Chain or Manufacturing Supervisor, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Product Rotation (DTB/PASS or PQP/SA or GIS or Ins. Transformer) Take direction from and support the Project Manager and on assigned project tasks.
• Demand/Supply Marketing or Marketing/Sales Rotation. Take direction from and support senior team members on duties as assigned.
• General Rotation (Quality or HSE or Human Resources or Finance) - take direction from and support senior team members on duties as assigned.
• Field Service or Supply Chain Rotation. Take direction from and support senior team members on duties as assigned.
