Hitachi Energy in the United States offers the Mt. Pleasant Job Rotation Program (MP-JRP), a two-year rotational experience across project and cost management, field supervision, marketing, sales, procurement, supply chain and safety.

Participants rotate through progressively responsible roles to gain exposure and mentorship. Upon completion, MP-JRP participants may progress into procurement, marketing & sales, assistant project management, distribution, or manufacturing supervision,

Qualifications

• Work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through product and process rotations across project, cost management, field supervision, marketing, sales, procurement, supply chain and safety.
• Support Project Manager and senior team on assigned project tasks.
• Engage in rotating assignments to develop management skills in PGHV.
• Demonstrate Hitachi Energy's core values and collaborate across functions.
• Participate in mentoring and practical experiences throughout the two-year program.

Pleasant Job Rotation Program (MP-JRP) position offers the opportunity to learn all facets of the Hitachi Energy Power Grid High Voltage (PGHV) business through rotating hands‑on experience in project and cost management, field and floor supervision, marketing, sales, procurement, supply chain and safety over a two‑year period. In this role MP-JRPs will be exposed to all aspects of the PGHV process through rotating assignments in a series of progressively more responsible positions. Mentoring and practical experience combine to develop PGHV management skills in an area of specialization. Upon program completion, MP-JRP participants may become Procurement, Marketing & Sales, Assistant Project Managers, Distribution, Supply Chain or Manufacturing Supervisor, etc.

• Product Rotation (DTB/PASS or PQP/SA or GIS or Ins. Transformer) Take direction from and support the Project Manager and on assigned project tasks.
• Demand/Supply Marketing or Marketing/Sales Rotation. Take direction from and support senior team members on duties as assigned.
• General Rotation (Quality or HSE or Human Resources or Finance) - take direction from and support senior team members on duties as assigned.
• Field Service or Supply Chain Rotation. Take direction from and support senior team members on duties as assigned.

Qualification

• BA/BS/MA/MS in Business Administration; Psychology; Communications; Marketing; Education; Computer Science; Finance; Economics; General Engineering or related discipline
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
