Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is seeking a Finishing Operator to support powder coating operations. You will prepare materials, select finishes, load components, apply coatings, and conduct quality inspections to ensure customer specifications are met.

The role involves changing colors, setting up equipment, and maintaining documentation while following safety procedures on a Monday-Thursday shift from 7am to 5:30pm.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret cut sheets and manufacturing specs.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Review sheets and orders to determine coatings and processing needs.
• Load components onto finishing systems and apply coatings.
• Perform quality inspections of coated parts and report variances.
• Prepare components through cleaning, masking, or prep work.
• Move finished products to designated areas and maintain records.
