ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems AB in Monroe, NC is seeking a 1st Shift Finishing Supervisor to lead the Paint Line, E-Coat, Buffing, and Arms Assembly teams. You will drive safety, quality, and on-time production while coaching hourly staff and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires an associate degree in a technical field (B.S. preferred) and 2+ years in metals machining or electronics manufacturing.

Qualifications

Associates degree in a technical field or business management is required.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or business management is preferred.
2+ years of experience in metals machining and electronics manufacturing.
Experience with paint systems, coating operations, or finishing operations is preferred.
Strong problem-solving and lean/continuous improvement skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily operations of Paint Line, E-Coat, Buffing, and Arms Assembly.
Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency.
Partner with Quality Assurance to investigate defects and reduce scrap.
Monitor KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, scrap, rework, and downtime.
Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
