Job summary

Amarr, a part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, is seeking a Barrel Fabrication Operator to fabricate, weld, and assemble barrel components per engineering specs and quality standards. You will support production schedules while maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Shift: Monday - Thursday; 7am - 5:30pm. The role requires reading cut sheets and drawings, setting up fabrication equipment, and performing quality inspections.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, welding, or assembly preferred.
• Ability to read cut sheets, blueprints, engineering drawings.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate fabrication equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Review orders and specifications and fabricate barrel components.
• Weld nuts, springs, brackets, and other metal components.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment.
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow 5S.
