Job summary

Windsor Windows & Doors is seeking a Powder Coat Technician to prepare, coat, and finish metal components in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams, load/unload parts, and address coating defects while supporting production schedules.

  • Communicate priorities, changes, and expectations clearly to team members.
  • Coordinate multiple tasks and priorities throughout the shift to keep material flowing.
  • Assist with physically offloading material when workload or staffing requires additional support.
  • Identify problems or discrepancies and take action to resolve them before they impact production or downstream departments.

Job Summary

A Powder Coat Technician is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal components to meet company quality and production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The technician conducts routine inspections, monitors equipment performance, and maintains adherence to safety, environmental, and quality procedures. Daily duties include loading and unloading parts, identifying and correcting coating defects, and assisting with material handling throughout the production process. The role requires close coordination with production, maintenance, and quality teams to achieve production schedules and customer expectations. Due to customer demand and production requirements, this position regularly requires daily overtime and flexibility in work hours to support operational goals.

Duties & Responsibilities
