Job summary

Windsor Windows & Doors is seeking a Powder Coat Technician to prepare, coat, and finish metal components in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams, load/unload parts, and address coating defects while supporting production schedules.

The role requires daily overtime and flexible hours to meet customer demand. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating workflow in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to identify and resolve material handling discrepancies.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to guide a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct employees within the offload area to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Ensure finished material is accurately identified and routed to the correct location or department.
• Monitor material movement and verify accuracy to prevent misplaced, missing, or incorrectly routed material.
• Communicate priorities, changes, and expectations clearly to team members.
• Coordinate multiple tasks and priorities throughout the shift to keep material flowing.
• Assist with physically offloading material when workload or staffing requires additional support.
• Identify problems or discrepancies and take action to resolve them before they impact production or downstream departments.
