Windsor Windows & Doors, a division of Woodgrain, is hiring Manufacturing Associates for the 1st shift in West Des Moines, IA. Join a team that assembles finished Windsor products to spec, handling raw materials and components for our windows and doors.

Candidates should be able to read a tape measure and have experience with power tools. The role requires lifting, operating various machines, and following quality standards; a pre-employment drug screen and background check apply.

Employment Type: Hourly FT
Work Environment: Monday through Friday 6am – 2:30pm

Job Summary:
Manufacturing associates assist in the assembly and manufacturing of finished Windsor products, per quality standards. They handle raw materials to cut and assemble various components for our windows and doors.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate small and large machines
• Inspect all products for quality
• Use of various hand and power tools; air gun, nail gun, saws, drills, measuring tape etc.
• Staging and packaging finished products before delivery
• Pull parts needed for assembly
• Read and understand various orders, labels and schedules associated with finished products
• Lifting of heavy materials and units at various stages of production
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Read a tape measure
• Previous experience with power tools
