Job summary

Windsor Windows & Doors in North Carolina is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to develop and maintain SOPs and CTQ metrics, ensuring process compliance and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

You will monitor quality data, investigate root causes of defects, coordinate corrective actions, and train staff on quality documents and procedures, while supporting lean initiatives and a safe, efficient workplace.

Qualifications

• Two years of hands on quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred experience in Quality Management System auditing.
• Hands on work ethic, excellent oral and written skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Ability to handle and coordinate multiple tasks and projects.
• Lean and Cellular manufacturing knowledge with Kaizen methodology.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and revises SOP, CTQ documents for standardization and continuous improvement.
• Monitors and audits documents to ensure process compliance; integrates with other initiatives.
• Contributes to the development and maintenance of standard work documents.
• Analyses quality data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in determining root causes of product failure and establishes corrective actions; verify effectiveness.
• Serves as the quality and manufacturing document control coordinator.
• Assist in providing training of SOPs and other quality documents.
• Act as an internal quality system auditor to ensure compliance to the company QMS.

General Duties and Support

• Meet established company objectives within own areas of responsibility, while assisting other areas in meeting their objectives through engineering process and quality improvements
• Is a key support member to operations, quality and demonstrates the company philosophy of “Easy To Do Business With (ETDBW)”, to ensure that customers have an excellent experience.

Primary Duties

• Develops, maintains, and revises Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Critical to Quality (CTQ) documents for the standardization and continuous improvement work to be performed.
• Monitors and audits documents to ensure compliance to process. Integrates work with other departmental initiatives and reviseds as needed.
• Contributes to the development and maintenance of standard work documents.
• Analyzes uality data and trends to identify opportunities from improvement.
• Assist in helping to determine the root causes of product failure and establishes effective corrective actions. Responsbile for verify effectiveness.
• Serves as the quality and manufacturing document control coordinator.
• Assist in providing training of SOP’s and other quality documents.
• Act as an interal quality system auditor to ensure compliance to the company QMS.

QUALIFICATIONS/ ABILITIES:

• Two years of hands on quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred experience in Quality Management System auditing.
• Hands on work ethic, excellent oral and written skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Ability to handle and coordinate multiple ask functions and projects.
• Preferred experience in Lean and Cellular manufacturing with a working knowledge of Kaizan, 65 methodologies.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
• Demonstrates skills in planning, implementing, monitoring, and reporting are essential.
• Should possess excellent communication skills, combined with the ability to work with the motivate employees to achieve corporate goals, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, plant operations, and customer service.
• Understanding of Microsoft office.
