Job summary

Windsor Windows & Doors, a division of Woodgrain, is seeking a Powder Coat Technician to prepare, coat, and finish metal components in a fast-paced manufacturing setting in Iowa. The role requires coordinating with production, maintenance, and quality teams and may include daily overtime to meet production schedules and customer expectations.

The position is hourly with typical Monday–Friday shifts and requires safe, accurate material handling and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in finishing metal components in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Ability to coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct offload area to maintain workflow.
• Identify and correct coating defects and route material correctly.
• Support material handling and keep production moving.
• Communicate priorities clearly to team members.
• Address discrepancies to avoid production impact.
