Job summary

Grand Targhee Resort is seeking a Winter Seasonal Host to provide warm mountain hospitality, manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate dining-room flow with attention to detail. You will seat guests, maintain waitlists, and support the front-of-house team during peak periods.

Responsibilities include managing the host stand, communicating guest needs to servers and leadership, and ensuring a smooth guest experience while upholding service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous host, restaurant, resort, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Experience using electronic reservation or restaurant seating systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage the host stand, escort parties to tables with menus.
• Manage seating charts, waitlists and reservation systems for efficient rotation.
• Provide accurate wait-time estimates and communicate with guests.
• Maintain host stand, dining-room flow, and readiness of materials.
• Follow SOPs and support service standards.
