Job summary

Grand Targhee Resort is seeking a Host for Powder Cache Restaurant to deliver warm mountain hospitality. You will welcome guests, manage the host stand, seat guests, and coordinate reservations to support attentive, efficient service.

This role emphasizes clear communication with servers and kitchen staff, handling waitlists, and maintaining a clean, organized entry. A high school diploma and hospitality experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous host/restaurant/hospitality or customer-service experience preferred.
• Experience using electronic reservation or restaurant seating systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage host stand, and escort parties to tables.
• Maintain seating charts, waitlists, and reservations for efficient rotation.
• Communicate party sizes, special requests, VIP visits, dietary restrictions, and guest information to staff.
• Assist servers and bussers with clearing, resetting, and organizing tables during busy periods.
• Keep host area clean, organized, and ready for service.
• Follow SOPs and uphold hospitality standards.
