Job summary

House of Raeford is seeking a Shipping Clerk to coordinate packing with production, label orders, and ensure accurate, timely shipment of poultry products. You will operate scanning tools, generate slips and invoices, and work closely with teammates to meet daily shipping goals.

The role requires standing for 8 hours, lifting up to 40 lbs, and adherence to PPE and safety protocols in a food processing environment. Overtime may be needed at peak times.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and packing activities with production.
• Scale and ship orders on a timely and accurate basis.
• Collect all orders at a central point and label them accurately.
• Use computer and scanner to move products and ensure poultry combos are accounted for and ready for shipping.
• Produce packing slips, invoices and purchase orders for Shipping Clerk.
• Interact with teammates to ensure orders are packed efficiently and on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, SSOPs and GMPs.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
