Job summary

House of Raeford is seeking a Serviceman to inform growers and farm foremen about company policies and programs, and to advise on proper management practices for healthy chicken production.

You will assist with scheduling, bird placement, inventory reporting, and coordinating with the feed scheduler to ensure timely feed delivery. Daily travel and farm walkthroughs are required for sanitation and efficiency checks.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with growers and foremen effectively.
• Read and speak the English language fluently.
• Must possess a valid North Carolina driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inform growers and farm foremen about company policies and programs.
• Advise on proper management practices to optimize chicken production.
• Assist scheduling and placement of birds and report inventories weekly.
• Coordinate with the feed scheduler to ensure timely feed delivery.
• Travel up to 100 miles daily in a company truck to cover assigned route.
• Inspect facilities and equipment for sanitation and efficiency.
• Observe birds in poultry houses and ensure equipment operates correctly.
