Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Shipping Loader to help move premium poultry products to the finish line. This hands-on role uses power equipment to load trailers, ensures accurate documentation, and supports efficient shipping flow. Responsibilities include loading pallets, following PPE requirements, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while meeting production schedules in a temp-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a comparable field.
• Licensed or becoming licensed to operate a powered industrial vehicle after certified instruction.
• High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work at various stations along the production line processing poultry food products.
• Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE and reporting unsafe acts.
• Maintain clean and safe working environment.
• Participate in Company and department safety programs.
• Operate an electric jack to load 2,500 cases of palletized products per 8-hour shift.
• Document on a load diagram of products loaded on trailers and quantities.
