Job summary

House of Raeford is seeking a production employee to support the poultry processing line in Greenville, SC. You will stand for long periods, perform repetitive cutting and deboning tasks, and help maintain food safety standards.

This role requires strong teamwork, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and strict adherence to PPE and safety policies. Overtime and shift flexibility may be required.

Experience in a cold, damp environment is a plus, with training provided on HACCP and GMP practices.

Qualifications

• Able to perform repetitive tasks on a production line.
• Able to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must follow HACCP, SSOPs and GMPs.
• Communicate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Use a knife or scissors to cut up or debone chicken as it moves down the production line.
• Check for bones and excess fat attached.
• Remove bones and trim fat as needed.
• Participate as a team member in the assigned area.
• Perform repetitive tasks as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with established food safety programs, including HACCP, SSOPs and GMPs.
• Effectively communicate with all levels of employees.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Attend monthly or annual meetings and trainings as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or lead
