Job summary

House of Raeford is seeking a Shipping Clerk to coordinate packing with production, label orders, and ensure accurate, timely shipment of poultry products. You will operate scanning tools, generate slips and invoices, and work closely with teammates to meet daily shipping goals.

The role requires standing for 8 hours, lifting up to 40 lbs, and adherence to PPE and safety protocols in a food processing environment. Overtime may be needed at peak times.

Primary Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for coordinating shipping and packing activities with production
• Scale and ship orders on a timely and accurate basis
• Collecting all orders at a central point and accurately labeling the orders
• Using the computer and scanning gun to move the product to ensure that poultry combos are accountable and ready for shipping
• Producing packing slips, invoices and purchase orders accurately to Shipping Clerk
• Interacting with teammates to ensure all orders are packed efficiently and timely
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs
• Ensure compliance with established food safety programs, including HACCP programs, SSOPs and GMPs.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
