Job summary

Steadfast Farms is seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor for our USDA-inspected poultry processing facility in Bethlehem, CT. You will lead a 12-25 member production team and step in to run the plant when the Facility Manager is out, a floor-level leadership role with hands-on responsibilities.

You will train staff, ensure compliance with USDA/HACCP/SSOP/OSHA standards, and drive KPI targets while learning our ERP system (Odoo).

Qualifications

• Experience as a team leader or supervisor.
• Knowledge of HACCP, SSOP, GMP, OSHA or ability to learn quickly.
• Detail-oriented and reliable.
• Able to learn ERP system (Odoo).

Responsibilities

• Lead a 12-25 member production team and run the plant in the manager's absence.
• Train and develop staff with hands-on coaching.
• Maintain compliance with USDA, HACCP, SSOP, GMP, OSHA.
• Hit KPI targets: yield, efficiency, labor cost, line speed.
• Learn and use Odoo for production records, inventory, reporting.
• Maintain customer and vendor relationships via calls and email.
• Interview and hire to staff the crew.
