Pilgrim’s is seeking a Production Superintendent to lead daily operations on the poultry production floor, ensuring targets are met while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency with real-time problem solving.

The role emphasizes training, teamwork, and cross-department collaboration to drive improvements. A High School Diploma is required, with supervisory experience overseeing 20+ employees preferred in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED; College Degree preferred.
• Experience: 1+ years supervisory experience leading 20+ employees preferred; poultry/food industry a plus.
• Skills: strong communication, independent decision making, basic computer knowledge, ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and create a positive work environment to help employees reach their highest potential in quality and productivity.
• Organize manpower, materials, equipment, and production schedules to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee employee performance and offer constructive feedback, both positive and corrective.
• Encourage open communication and employee involvement to build team morale and support company values.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for quality improvement, cost savings, and process enhancements.
• Ensure safety standards are followed and promote a safe working environment for all team members.
• Takeadditional responsibilities as needed to support the Plant Operations Team.
