Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Texas is hiring for Production Hourly roles on the processing line. You’ll cut, trim, package, and inspect poultry to meet safety and quality standards; operate equipment; keep a clean, safe area; and follow biosecurity guidelines.

This hands-on role rewards reliability and teamwork, with a base rate of $15.85/hour plus a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts and a perfect attendance incentive.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Able to work in cool temperatures (~40°F) and stand for long hours.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products per Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety and biosecurity guidelines.
• Support teammates by sharing skills and promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working in different areas of production.
