Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Texas is hiring for a Production Hourly role on the processing line. You’ll perform tasks such as cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspecting products to meet safety and quality standards.

You’ll operate equipment, keep the area clean, follow safety and biosecurity guidelines, and work in a fast-paced team environment. High School diploma preferred; poultry/food experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Skills: multitask, good communication, follow simple instructions, teamwork.
• Physical: able to work in cool temperatures and stand 8–11 hours, lift 50 lbs+.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products following USDA and Pilgrim's standards.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Support team by sharing skills and promoting a positive atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties to meet production and quality goals.
• Flexibility to work in different areas of production.
• Other duties as assigned.
