Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Production hourly team member in Kentucky to cut, trim, package, and inspect poultry on the processing line, following USDA and company standards. You’ll operate equipment, keep a clean area, and adhere to safety and biosecurity guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and willingness to learn. Monday–Friday schedule with some weekend work; base pay $18.25 per hour plus $2.00 shift differential for 2nd/3rd shift, with benefits

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Skills: Ability to multitask and work quickly, good communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products using tools, manual labor, and equipment according to USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support team members by sharing skills and knowledge while promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by performing tasks in different areas of production as needed.
