Job summary

Pilgrim's is hiring for a Production Hourly position. You’ll join a fast-paced processing line handling cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspecting products to meet strict safety and quality standards.

The role requires dependable, trainable team players who can work in cooler temperatures and lift up to 50 lbs. Typical shift is 1st shift, Monday–Friday with possible weekend work; pay starts at a base hourly rate of $18.50 with benefits after a probationary period.

Qualifications

• Multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills with team members.
• Ability to comprehend simple instructions and apply common sense.
• Team player and willing to work close to other employees at some stations.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products on the line according to USDA and Pilgrim's standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety and biosecurity guidelines.
• Support teammates by sharing skills and promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by performing tasks in different production areas as needed.
