Job summary

Pilgrim's is seeking a Production Hourly team member to join our processing line, performing cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspection to meet safety and quality standards. The role includes operating equipment, maintaining a clean area, following safety and biosecurity guidelines, and cooperating with teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Base pay is $15.95/hr plus $1.00 shift differential; schedule Mon-Fri with some weekend work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and communicate well; follow simple instructions.
• Must be a team player and work close to others at some stations.
• Able to work in cool temperatures and stand 8-11 hours daily.
• Able to lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products following USDA Pilgrim's standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety and biosecurity guidelines.
• Support teammates by sharing skills and knowledge.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem solving.
• Perform other duties to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility across production areas as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
