Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor to oversee production line personnel and ensure adherence to HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, USDA and OSHA standards while meeting productivity and customer specifications.

The role requires managing procedures, optimizing staffing, and delivering accurate daily reports, with a focus on process improvement, safety, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Three years of experience in food manufacturing or poultry preferred.
• Leadership experience including timekeeping and policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production line/department personnel to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reports (attendance, yields, etc.) are completed accurately.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce repeat deficiencies.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain USDA-compliant safe environments.
• Mentor, coach, and train staff; administer performance actions when needed.
• Follow safety initiatives and ensure PPE use in mandatory areas.
