Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in North Carolina seeks a Superintendent, Shipping, Preprice & Chiller to oversee the shipping, prepricing and cold‑chain operations at the Kinston Plant. You will lead cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time product movement, accurate labeling and strict food safety compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in shipping/logistics or food manufacturing, strong leadership, and experience with ERP systems and inventory control.

Qualifications

5+ years of shipping, logistics, cold storage or food manufacturing.
Proven supervisory or management experience in a warehouse, production or logistics setting.
Experience with inventory management and ERP systems.
Bachelor’s degree in SCM, logistics or business administration preferred.
HACCP/OSHA or related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee shipping and logistics management to ensure on‑time, accurate deliveries.
Oversee prepricing activities and ensure compliant labeling per customer specs.
Supervise chiller operations and maintain temperature control and product integrity.
Lead shipping, prepricing and chiller teams; plan schedules and allocate resources.
Ensure safety, food safety, and regulatory compliance (HACCP/OSHA).
Identify cost reduction opportunities and drive Lean/continuous improvement.
