Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Production Hourly team member in Canton, GA to work on the processing line performing tasks such as cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspecting products to meet strict safety and quality standards.

You will operate equipment, maintain a clean work area, follow safety guidelines, and support the crew in a fast-paced environment. The shift runs 7:40 am to 5:45 pm, weekend work may be required, with a base rate of $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Skills: Multitask, communicate well, be a team player, quick learner and follow instructions.
• Physical: able to work in cool temps, stand and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products on the line per Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Support teammates by sharing skills and promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem solving.
• Perform other duties to meet production and quality goals.
• Flexibly work across different production areas as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
