Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring for a production hourly role. Join our processing line to cut, trim, package, and inspect poultry products in a fast-paced environment. You’ll operate equipment, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety and biosecurity guidelines while contributing to quality and continuous improvement.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and poultry/food industry experience is a plus. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with some weekend work and a base rate of $18.25 per hour plus a $2.00

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and communicate well, follow simple instructions, and be a team player.
• Physical: able to work in cool temperatures and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products using tools, manual labor, and equipment according to USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support team members by sharing skills and knowledge while promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by performing tasks in different areas of production as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
