Job summary

Wayne Farms in the United States is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor to lead production line personnel, ensuring compliance with HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs and USDA/OSHA regulations while achieving productivity and meeting customer specifications.

This role oversees up to 100 employees, mentors staff, coordinates with Quality Assurance, and drives process improvements in a fast-paced poultry facility. Strong leadership and manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year manufacturing experience; 3+ years in food/poultry preferred.
• 1+ year leadership including timekeeping, policy adherence and conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations (OSHA, GMP, HACCP).
• Ability to communicate in English, written and verbal; multilingual a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficient computer and math skills; self-starter with urgency in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage production line/department to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure daily reports are completed and accurate.
• Identify opportunities to improve throughput and reduce waste.
• Lead process improvements and monitor trends.
• Partner with QA to maintain food safety and sanitation.
• Mentor and train staff; implement performance improvements.
• Enforce safety policies and PPE usage.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet goals.
• Learn and adhere to any Union contracts.
