Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor to oversee the Retail or Further processing departments, ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMPs, USDA and OSHA while achieving productivity targets. You will lead up to 100 team members, deploy personnel efficiently, and drive process improvements.

You will mentor staff, manage daily reports, and coordinate with QA to sustain a safe, sanitary environment and on-time production schedules in a fast-paced plant setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in manufacturing; three years in food manufacturing preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience including knowledge of timekeeping, policy adherence and conflict resolution.
• Ability to communicate in English; multilingual abilities a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise processing department to ensure procedures compliance with HACCP, GMPs and USDA/ OSHA requirements.
• Manage retail or further processing production line to meet production schedules and budgets.
• Mentor, coach and train employees; conduct performance feedback and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain safety by enforcing PPE usage and company safety policies.
• Prepare and review daily reports on attendance, yields and productivity.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain sanitary, food-safe operations.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet location goals.
