Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Line Associate on the poultry production line in Alabama. You will assist in disassembly and perform a range of processing tasks as the line rotates, with emphasis on safety and quality standards.

Applicants should be able to work non-standard shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate in a wet, cold environment with exposure to noise and strong odors. Prior poultry experience is preferred but not required; a high school diploma is recommended.

Qualifications

• Previous poultry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform production related tasks surrounding poultry processing such as debone or evisceration
• Perform all duties in compliance with Company policies and procedures, agency guidelines (i.e. NCC Animal Welfare, U.S.D.A, etc.) and Federal, State and local legal requirements
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly at all times in areas requiring PPE helping to promote a zero accident culture
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned
