Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Alabama (Decatur area) is seeking a Line Associate to disassemble poultry and perform a range of processing tasks as they rotate on the production line. This role requires the ability to work on non-standard shifts and handle exposure to wet and cold environments.

You will follow company policies, safety protocols, and PPE requirements, and you may learn debone or evisceration tasks while maintaining compliance with USDA and NCC guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous poultry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform production related tasks surrounding poultry processing such as debone or evisceration.
• Perform all duties in compliance with Company policies and procedures, agency guidelines (i.e. NCC Animal Welfare, U.S.D.A, etc.) and Federal, State and local legal requirements.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly at all times in areas requiring PPE helping to promote a zero accident culture.
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.
