Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Decatur, AL is seeking a Line Associate to disassemble poultry and rotate through a range of processing tasks on the production line.

You will follow company policies and USDA guidelines, wear PPE, and work a physical job that may include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods. Prior poultry experience is preferred; a high school diploma is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous poultry experience preferred.
• Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform production related tasks surrounding poultry processing such as debone or evisceration
• Perform all duties in compliance with Company policies and procedures, agency guidelines (i.e. NCC Animal Welfare, U.S.D.A, etc.) and Federal, State and local legal requirements
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly at all times in areas requiring PPE
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned
