Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking to add to its production team in Texas. This hourly role involves working on the processing line to cut, trim, package, and inspect poultry products while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You’ll operate equipment, keep a clean area, and follow biosecurity guidelines in a fast-paced setting. The job emphasizes teamwork, dependability, and a willingness to learn, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Poultry or food industry experience a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work quickly.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Able to stand for 8–11 hours and lift 50 lbs+.
• Comfort working in cool environments around 40°F.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products following USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Keep a clean, organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Support teammates and promote a positive work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem solving.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production goals.
• Flexibly perform tasks in different production areas as needed.
