Job summary

Pilgrim's Hatchery Team in Enterprise, AL, is seeking motivated hands-on workers to help ensure healthy poultry starts. You will handle eggs, monitor incubation, assist with chick hatching, and perform quality checks to maintain strict biosecurity and animal care standards.

You will operate specialized equipment, keep work areas clean, and follow safety protocols while recording data on egg counts and hatch rates. A HS diploma is required, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, communicate clearly, and work as part of a team.
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting and pushing.

Responsibilities

• Handle and set eggs in incubators according to procedures.
• Monitor incubation conditions (temp, humidity, ventilation) for optimal hatching.
• Assist with chick hatching and transfer, ensuring proper care.
• Perform quality checks on eggs and chicks to maintain biosecurity.
