Job summary

Cobb is hiring for a Biotechnology worker to collect blood samples from Pedigree chickens for genomic gain and health monitoring. The role requires strict biosecurity and careful handling of sampling instruments on a first shift in Oklahoma.

You'll join Cobb's team with a focus on accuracy in data recording, instrument sanitation, and safe animal handling. Ideal candidates have stable work history and reside in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no gaps >6 months in past 36 months.
• Rehire rules allow consideration with a max of 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from Pedigree birds for genomic selection and health monitoring (50%).
• Prepare, clean and sanitize sampling and blood testing instruments (15%).
• Record information for sampling of pedigree chickens (25%).
• Perform additional duties as required, such as moving birds and assisting other departments (10%).
