Job summary

Versova is seeking a Flock Specialist I to support and maintain all aspects of the barns and ensure the health and welfare of poultry at our Johnstown, Ohio site. The role requires adherence to FDA, USDA, SQF, and OSHA standards with supervision as needed.

You will perform unskilled and semi-skilled poultry tasks, manage records, and assist with routine maintenance while working nights, weekends, and holidays as production demands.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years general work experience.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in varying climate conditions.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain humane care for poultry and sanitation of barns.
• Follow USDA, FDA, and OSHA regulations and guidance.
• Monitor and record flock health and mortality data.
• Keep facilities and equipment in good repair and clean.
