Job summary

Versova is hiring an Agricultural Systems Technician I for our Croton Pullet 2 location. You will assist in basic maintenance tasks within our poultry production plant, learning mechanical, electrical, and conveying systems under supervision.

You will support the maintenance team, perform routine checks, and help with repairs while ensuring safety and PPE compliance. The role requires flexibility for overtime and weekend hours as production demands.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in industrial, commercial, or facility systems maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holiday hours as required.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians in routine maintenance tasks.
• Perform basic equipment checks and inspections as directed.
• Help with simple repairs and parts replacement under supervision.
• Record basic maintenance activities in logbooks or computer systems.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Learn to identify common issues with agricultural equipment.
• Support conveyor systems and production line equipment upkeep.
