Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a Pouch Machine Operator on the day shift (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) to properly operate and maintain pouch packaging equipment to support safe, efficient production.

Responsibilities include loading materials, monitoring weights and line setups, troubleshooting minor issues, and documenting production activities. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in manufacturing, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED + 1–2 years related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment with PPE and safety rules.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills to follow instructions and complete paperwork.
• Willingness to use required tools and machine operation safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate pouch packaging equipment safely and efficiently while meeting quality and food safety standards.
• Set up, load, and adjust materials such as film, boxes, labels, and coding to keep production running smoothly.
• Monitor product weight, machine performance, and line setups to ensure accurate output.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and support efficient changeovers with the team.
• Clean, sanitize, assemble, and disassemble equipment following procedures.
• Complete required production, inspection, and downtime documentation.
