Job summary

ProAmpac, located in Hanover Park, IL, is hiring for a pouch machinery operator on a full-time basis. The role requires operating and maintaining pouch machinery, meeting safety and production standards, and working Monday through Friday with 6:00am to 4:00pm shifts.

Qualifications

• HS/GED required; HS/GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or related field required (2-4 years).
• No leadership duties; ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely sets up, operates, and monitors pouch machinery to meet production goals.
• Completes machine setup for production runs, including loading materials and calibrating equipment.
• Inspects materials and equipment to ensure quality standards and quotas are met.
• Verifies materials for inventory and work in progress; tracks usage.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs routine maintenance.
• Trains and guides new crew members on equipment operation.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of machinery and surrounding areas.
