Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a Pouch Machine Operator for the day shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. You will operate and maintain pouch packaging equipment to support safe, efficient production and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include setting up materials, monitoring weight and performance, and performing changeovers with the team. Prior production experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. Benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1-2 years of manufacturing/production experience.
• Ability to stand for most of the shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Fast-paced production environment with noise, moisture, moving equipment and PPE.
• Basic reading, writing, communication, problem-solving, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate pouch packaging equipment safely and efficiently while meeting quality and food safety standards.
• Set up, load, and adjust materials such as film, boxes, labels, and coding to keep production running smoothly.
• Monitor product weight, machine performance, and line set-ups for accurate output.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and support efficient changeovers with the team.
• Clean, sanitize, assemble, and disassemble equipment using established procedures.
• Complete production documentation and support other duties as needed.
