Job summary

The Pouch Operator at ePac Flexible Packaging sets up and operates pouch making machines that convert laminated films into pouches that meet or exceed customer quality specifications. This 10-hour shift runs Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• Manual coordination and dexterity with hand tools and equipment.
• Ability to work safely around operating machinery.

Responsibilities

• Reads job specifications and run data to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Observes machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions and makes corrections.
• Measures workpiece dimensions to verify accuracy of machine operation.
• Assists and collaborates with assistant operators to stack, mark, pack, and transport finished boxes.
• Performs changeovers, maintenance and PM on equipment.
• Conducts quality control checks and produces production reports.
