Job summary

ePac Flexible Packaging is hiring a Pouch Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (10-hour shift, Monday–Thursday). The role sets up and operates pouch making machines to convert laminated films into compliant pouches meeting customer specs, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate from $20/hour based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical options, vision, disability coverage, a 401K with employer match, paid time off

Qualifications

• Experience operating pouch making machines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic measuring and inspection.
• Teamwork and cooperation.

Responsibilities

• Reads job specifications and previous run data to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Observes machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions and makes corrections.
• Measures workpiece dimensions to verify accuracy.
• Assists and cooperates with assistant operators to stack, mark, pack, and transport finished boxes.
• Performs changeovers, maintenance and PM on equipment.
• Quality control checks and production reports.
