Job summary

DO & CO in Boston seeks a dynamic potwasher to support high-demand banquet and restaurant operations. The role involves cleaning, sorting, and sanitizing dishware and equipment, with emphasis on safety and sanitation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload and sort flight trolleys and equipment by class and type into plastic bins; wash/run dirty items through the dishwasher.
• Ensure temperature gauges read correctly and stack/organize cleaned items per company standards.
• Clean drains and machines at end of shift and sanitize the dishwashing area.

Responsibilities:

• Unload and sort flight trolleys and equipment (plates, bowls, trays, silverware and more) by class and type into plastic bins. Wash/run all dirty equipment through the dishwashing machine
• Ensure temperature gauges are reading the correct temperatures. Stack and sort clean equipment according to company specifications and moving all washed articles into the respective areas
• Clean drains and machines at end of shift and sanitize dishwashing machine and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Keep items separated, organized, and in good rotation
• Follow all company guidelines regarding cleaning and sanitation.
• Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying tempatures.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, pull or push as needed
• Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays) based on business needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma preferred

• Valid driving license is a plus
